Regina is the site of the Oskana Cup Aboriginal Youth Hockey Championships this weekend.

The action starts today and finishes on Sunday at the Co-operators Centre.

Despite most of the divisions featuring young hockey players, there’s also a masters division and recreation division for the adults.

It’s been a busy time for Indigenous hockey as of late in Saskatchewan. Saskatoon hosted the Fred Sasakamoose “Chief Thunderstick” National Hockey Championship last weekend.

Meantime, the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships kick off May 5 in Whitehorse.
