Stanley Mission RCMP have laid a murder charge in the death of a man who was discovered earlier in the week.
Police received a call of an injured male at a local residence on Monday.
Upon arrival, they found the body of 29-year-old Robert Philip McKenzie.
It was later determined McKenzie died as the result of injuries sustained during an altercation at his residence.
Twenty-eight-year-old Darcy Patrick Charles has been charged with second-degree murder.
He made his first court appearance in La Ronge Thursday morning.
