Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the shooting death of 22-year-old Colten Boushie on a farm near Biggar, Saskatchewan.

To mark the occasion, family members are hosting a traditional feast on the Red Pheasant First Nation. Among those who will attend are members of the Battlefords RCMP detachment.

The feast is open to everyone. It begins at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Red Pheasant First Nation Hall.

The farmer accused in Boushie’s death, 55-year-old Gerald Stanley is set to go on trial for second-degree murder in January.
