The University of Saskatchewan could have a centre to deal with social injustice by the next school year.

Currently a proposal is before the students’ union council for a centre that would bring together around 15 to 20 social justice groups on campus.

Students’ Union president Chris Stoicheff says making campus welcoming to all students is important.

He says the centre would provide peer support for anyone facing racism and says it could also host events and lectures and provide resources.
