Triple Homicide Suspect Selects New Lawyer

Prince Albert lawyer Greg Chovin has been selected to defend an 18-year-old Montreal Lake youth accused of murdering three fellow band members earlier this year.

This morning in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench, a representative for Chovin told the judge he wanted the matter pushed back to October 25th, to allow the lawyer time to prepare.

The judge consented and remanded the youth to an adult facility.

The youth, who can’t be identified, faces two counts of first degree murder and another charge of second degree murder.
