Transwest Air To Offer Flights To Fort McMurray

Oilfields in Northern Alberta may soon be a lot closer to workers in the Far North.

Transwest Air has announced it will soon be offering weekly flights to Fort McMurray.

Company spokesman Ken Landers says the new service will connect Prince Albert, Points North, Regina and Saskatoon to Northern Alberta, drastically lowering the time it takes to get there.

Flights, which depart three times a week, will begin in September.
