A Saskatoon police officer says despite a sizable workload, he will find time to do a proper review into a shooting in Prince Albert.

Inspector Jeff Bent has been assigned to monitor an investigation by the Prince Albert Police Service into a fatal incident in that city’s West Flat.

On March 18th, officers were responding to an incident in a home when 44-year-old Jackie Montgrand allegedly confronted them with a knife.

At least one shot was fired, and the woman was killed.

Bent says he just needs the autopsy report before he can start the review.
