The chairman of the Primrose Lake Air Weapons Range settlement committee says the provincial government has come through with its share of a $19.5-million economic development package for four Metis communities in northwest Saskatchewan.

Alex Maurice says he received word this week that the province has finally processed the money.

The Tories announced earlier this year they would honour their portion of the funding agreement signed by the previous Liberal government.

Maurice says a meeting on the issue will take place at Valleyview School in Beauval on June 10th for members of the four impact communities of Ile-a-la-Crosse, Beauval, Jans Bay and Cole Bay.

He hopes to see a formal signing at that point, as well.
