The Saskatoon Police are still looking for the public’s help in determining how a man became injured last week.

In the early morning hours of Canada Day, police found a man unconscious at the bus mall in downtown Saskatoon.

The 33-year-old Aboriginal man was suffering from a head injury.

He was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition — but he is unable to speak to officers at this time.

Saskatoon Police Service spokesperson Alyson Edwards says they are hoping someone can come forward with information to help them determine how the man became hurt.

The victim has short, dark hair, is 5’9″ tall and weighs 181 lbs.

He has four piercings in his lower lip, and was wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with a khaki green ball cap and camouflage board shorts.

He has been identified and family members have been contacted.
