The fees to get into Prince Albert National Park — and all other national parks in the country — have been frozen.

For individuals, the cost will remain the same until April 1, 2011.

The rates for the travel trade will remain the same until April 1, 2012.

The fee for an adult to get into Prince Albert National Park is $7.80 per day. The rate for a group is $19.60 per day.

The rate per year for an individual adult is $39.20. The group rate per year is $98.10.

Rob Clarke, MP for Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River, announced the rate freeze today.

He says the rates have been frozen to help Canadians enjoy national parks during the economic downturn.
