Municipal “Roundtable” Underway in La Ronge

A number of northern leaders and government politicians are in La Ronge today for the latest round of northern municipal roundtable discussions.
The talks are expected to range on issues from road construction and mine clean-ups to health concerns and economic strategies.
Dale McAuley, the chair for the northern municipal lobby group New North, says Government Relations Minister Len Taylor and Northern Affairs Minister Buckley Belanger should have lots to think about after today.
McAuley says he’s been looking forward to today’s session, which will include talks about community resources.
