The Metis Fall Festival begins tonight in Prince Albert.

The grand entry begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by fiddling, a youth role model introduction, and a dry dance.

Nellie Souter is one of the people coordinating the event.

She says the fall festival is in its 15th year and brings together Metis from all corners of the province, as well as other parts of Canada and the U.S.

“Everybody comes in to enjoy it all,” Souter says.

She says Ronald McDonald will be making an appearance for the kids at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The fiddling and jigging finals run Sunday afternoon, and everyone is invited out.
