Merasty Defends Against Harrison Attacks

A northern politician is speaking out about a recent attack on his political record.
Gary Merasty says Jeremy Harrison is both inaccurate and misleading when he says Merasty played hooky during his time on a federal standing committee.
Merasty says he made 6 out of 8 meetings while on the committee and he only missed the other 2, because he had to attend events in his constituency.
He describes Harrison’s criticism as negative politics and a clear sign he’s already hit the campaign trail.
He says Harrison should be pushing the Conservatives to honor their own campaign promises, before attacking other politicians.
