Crews with the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority say it will be at least another week before they can release water out of the Rapid River Dam on Lac La Ronge.

Officials with the SWA had hoped to increase water flow from the dam last week, but were forced to abandon their efforts due because of an ice jam.

Authority manager Don Dill says they will try again next week.

He adds the situation is not considered serious, but adjustments to the water flow will have to be made soon if the warm weather continues.
