Harrison’s First Comments Since Judicial Recount

The former MP for Desnethe-Missinipi-Churchill River has announced he is giving up his efforts to have last month’s federal election results overturned.
Ten days ago, Jeremy Harrison lost a judicial recount to the Liberal’s Gary Merasty by 67 votes.
The recount came after Harrison’s camp complained of voter irregularities in Northern Saskatchewan.
Through a press release yesterday, Harrison says he still has concerns over the allegations but it’s time to move on.
However, he says he will forward evidence of wrong-doing to officials with elections Canada.
Harrison won’t say whether or not he’ll run again in a federal election, only that he’ll continue to work for people in Northern Saskatchewan.
