Grandmother’s Bay Site Of Mass Immunization

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band is about to test its pandemic preparedness in Grandmother’s Bay.
The band is having a mass immunization flu clinic at the local school gymnasium tomorrow.
Band community health coordinator Kris Keast says this trial run will help them determine how well-prepared they are for a pandemic.
The plan has been in the works for about four years.
Keast says if 80 per cent of eligible people show up for immunization, organizers will consider it a success.
