The government continues to make adjustments to legislation that would enable parents and caregivers of drug addicted teens to force them into treatment.

Healthy Living Minister Graham Addley confirms, he has made changes to the Youth Drug Detoxification and Stabilization Act.

He says critics pointed out that details were lacking in the working of how kids would be cared for after treatment.

Addley says the act is currently being debated in the legislature. It could be passed this fall or in the spring.
