Death Of Healing Lodge Inmate Subject Of Inquest

A coroner’s inquest is getting undewrway in Regina today into the death of an inmate who died while unlawfully at large.

43-year-old Emile William Dubois was an inmate at the Wahpeton Healing Lodge near Prince Albert at the time of his death.

He died last April 2nd at a Regina home.

The coroner’s jury will examine what led to his death, and how similar situations might be prevented in the future.

The inquest is scheduled to wrap up on Friday.
