Churchill Capital Funding Officially Announced

Churchill highschool in La Ronge was visited by a large group of government officials and honoured guests today.

The group which included Minister of Education Ken Krawetz was in town to take a tour of the school and meet with the architect involved in the project in an attempt to get a better feel as to how the 17 million dollars in Government funding will be spent.

The Northern Lights School Division kicked in the rest of the money and it is expected to project will cost about 22 million dollars at it’s completion.

Krawetz says that getting to see the plans people have for the funding is always the best part of the process.

Also during the meeting Cameco announced an additional 100 thousand dollars for the project.
