Chamber Of Commerce Recruits Casino Executive

A prominent First Nations businessman has accepted an offer to be a director with the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.

Richard Ahenakew, the general manager at the Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert, describes the posting as a honour.

He feels his ties to the Aboriginal community will help him on the job.

Ahenakew adds most business leaders he talks to these days are well aware of the young First Nations workforce in the province.
