Car Crash Near La Ronge Claims Two Lives

Two women have been killed in a single vehicle rollover near La Ronge this morning.

The RCMP say the victims were among five occupants of a northbound car that flipped after going off a dirt road about five kilometres southeast of La Ronge.

The Mounties were called to the scene of the accident at around 7:30 this morning.

The three other occupants of the vehicle — two men and a woman — were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

All of the people in the car are from the La Ronge area.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

La Ronge RCMP are continuing to investigate.
