Belanger Responds To SaskParty Leader’s Critique

Saskatchewan’s minister of Northern Affairs says he’s not impressed with recent comments made by opposition leader Brad Wall.
Buckley Belanger says Wall stepped forward with many criticisms of the NDP government yesterday, but he offered no concrete solutions or commitments of his own.
Wall accused the NDP of saying lots but doing little about northern roads. He also slammed the government for its handling of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan election dispute and its aftermath.
Belanger feels Wall’s tour of the North has been far too brief and filled with nothing but rhetoric.
Belanger adds he has only fielded one question in the last three years from the Saskatchewan Party regarding a northern issue.
Wall wrapped up his trip to the North yesterday with a stop in Buffalo Narrows.
