Athabasca Health Authority Marks Five Years

The province’s most northern health region is celebrating five years in operation today.

Athabasca Health Authority CEO Vince Robillard says while some great work has been done in this time, there are still some things to work on.

Robillard says improvements in areas such as dental care will continue over the next few years.

But he notes the health region has made large strides in many areas, including child care.

He adds that recruitment issues continue to be the main problem facing the region.
