The University of Saskatchewan is holding a banquet tomorrow night to honour its Aboriginal graduates.

Roughly 200 First Nations and Metis graduates will make a grand entry along with drummers and powwow dancers at a reception at the Saskatoon Inn.

Event coordinator Charlotte Ross says this is the 10th year they’ve held the banquet.

She notes a wide variety of courses and studies will be represented, including engineering, kinesiology, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine and graduate studies.

Dr. Glenda Orr, a First Nations dentistry alumnus, will provide the keynote address.
