Government Honours Beauval Man For Volunteer Work

The provincial government has honoured a long-time social housing volunteer from Beauval.

Richard Abbey received a certificate of recognition and a commerorative pin yesterday for his 10 years of volunteer service.

Abbey continues to serve as the chair of the Beaver River Regional Housing Authority.

The housing authority board manages 300 housing units in Beauval, Sled Lake, Dore Lake, Green Lake, Jans Bay, Pinehouse and Cole Bay.
