The RCMP have now arrested three of seven sex offenders in the province who had warrants issued for their arrest.

30-year-old Leonard Jacob Bird of La Ronge turned himself in to the La Ronge RCMP detachment yesterday morning and was subsequently arrested.

Regina police found and arrested 25-year-old Matthew Kenneth Chartrand in Regina last yesterday afternoon.

A third person who has not been identified was tracked down outside the province.

Police are still attempting to locate 38-year-old Clifton Anthony Minty of Swift Current, 24-year-old Glen Russell Campbell of Regina, 57-year-old Ralph Cedric Bird of Christopher Lake, and 28-year-old Christina Nicole Laliberte of Saskatoon.

The Mounties say all seven individuals have not complied with the Sex Offender Information Registration Act — but none of them is considered to be a danger to the public.
