Murder Charge Laid In Deschambault Lake Death

A charge of second-degree murder has been laid in connection to the weekend assault in Deschambault Lake that claimed the life of a local teen.

Eighteen-year-old Justin Naytowhow died Sunday evening in the local clinic from an injury he received in an assault earlier that night.

RCMP have not released the cause of death — but an autopsy is scheduled for today.

The 17-year-old male suspect is making his first court appearance today in Deschambault Lake.
