Cameco Recognized For Aboriginal Relations

Cameco Corporation has received the highest certification level from the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

The company has been involved in CCAB’s Progressive Aboriginal Relations Program for about ten years.

CCAB Research Analyst Steven Scott says Cameco can be an example to other companies, especially when it comes to hiring practices.

Scott says it is a leader in Aboriginal relations, as well as community and social responsibility.

A total of six companies in Canada are receiving CCAB’s Gold Level certification this year.
