Saskatoon police are investigating after a man was stabbed during an assault on the city’s west side Tuesday night.
Police say officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue M South shortly after 10:00 p.m. on October 6 following reports of a fight in progress.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Investigators learned the victim had been assaulted by several people before the suspects fled the area.
The injured man was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment. Police said his injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening.
No arrests have been announced, and police continue to investigate the incident.
