Regina Police Service say a death investigation that began Saturday afternoon has now been deemed a homicide.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of Robinson Street shortly after 2 p.m. on October 3rd, where they found a 20-year-old man suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.

Police attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are assisting with the investigation.

The victim’s name has not been released.

Police say this marks Regina’s sixth homicide of 2026, and anyone with information is asked to contact Regina Police or Crime Stoppers.
