A 41-year-old Saskatoon man is facing 10 criminal charges following an investigation into alleged sexual and physical assaults involving children at a Saskatoon school.
The Saskatoon Police Service says its Child Abuse Unit began investigating after receiving a report on May 26, 2026, of sexual interference involving a staff member at St. Mary’s Wellness & Education Centre, in the 300 block of Avenue N South.
Following the investigation and consultation with Crown prosecutors, police have charged the man with five counts of sexual assault and five counts of assault.
According to police, the alleged offences occurred between Sept. 1, 2025, and May 25, 2026.
Investigators say the incidents involved five victims who were approximately 10 years old at the time of the alleged offences.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Sept. 16, 2026.
Police have not released the identity of the accused. The charges have not been proven in court.
