A 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an incident near railway tracks in Regina on Sunday night.
Emergency crews, including Regina Police Service, CN Rail Police, EMS and Regina Fire and Protective Services, were called to the area of Elphinstone Street and McKinley Avenue at about 10 p.m. on September 6.
Police say the teen was injured while attempting to cross the tracks.
She was found suffering from what appeared to be serious injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
Members of the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene to document evidence.
A joint investigation by Regina Police and CN Rail Police is ongoing.
Investigators say the incident does not appear to be criminal in nature.
