Tisdale RCMP are investigating a collision involving a semi and parked heavy equipment on Highway 3 east of Tisdale.
Police received a report of the collision at approximately 6:25 a.m. on Aug. 19, about 10 kilometres east of Tisdale.
According to RCMP, the semi collided with a parked heavy equipment vehicle. There were no occupants in the heavy equipment vehicle at the time of the collision.
When officers arrived at the scene, the semi had been abandoned. A man with non-life-threatening injuries was located nearby and transported to hospital by EMS.
RCMP continue to investigate and are working to determine whether the injured man was the driver of the semi.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Information shared on social media and by people who travelled through the area in the early morning hours described significant damage at the scene.
