Prince Albert Police have confirmed that a deceased individual found during a search connected to a missing persons investigation is 14-year-old Peyton Flett.
An autopsy conducted Aug. 18 confirmed the identity of the deceased, according to police.
Flett was reported missing on June 30. On Aug. 13, police located a deceased individual in the 300 block of 40th Street East while conducting a search as part of the investigation into her disappearance.
The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Flett’s death.
The investigation remains active.
