Saskatchewan RCMP are asking residents of Sandy Bay to check security and doorbell camera footage as investigators continue to search for suspects in a homicide investigation.

Police say further investigation determined an altercation involving multiple individuals occurred at a residence in the early morning hours of August 16.

A 19-year-old man was injured during the incident and later died.

The victim has been identified as Silvino Grenier of Sandy Bay. RCMP say his family has been notified and victim services have been offered.

Investigators have identified a black SUV believed to be involved and are working to identify those responsible.

Residents are being asked to review any video footage recorded between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on August 16 and report suspicious activity to police.
