Buffalo Narrows RCMP are appealing to the public for information as they search for a suspect involved in a weekend shooting.
At approximately 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, officers responded to a report of a firearm being discharged in the community.
Police say an investigation determined two men were involved in an altercation outside a residence when one of them fired a gun, injuring the other. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Buffalo Narrows RCMP, along with Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services, conducted a search of the area and continue efforts to locate and arrest the individual. Saskatchewan RCMP’s Forensic Identification Services is also assisting with the ongoing investigation.
