The Prince Albert Police Service is asking the public for help as investigators continue to search for answers in the 2018 homicide of Jordan Ballantyne.
Police say that on the evening of July 13, 2018, officers and Parkland Ambulance responded to a report of a man down in a yard near the intersection of 6th Avenue East and 20th Street. When emergency responders arrived, Jordan Ballantyne was found deceased and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, police determined that Ballantyne’s death was suspicious and a homicide.
The case remains unsolved and is currently being investigated by the Prince Albert Police Service Historical Crimes Unit, which continues to review information and pursue leads.
Investigators are urging anyone with information about Ballantyne’s death, no matter how minor it may seem, to come forward.
Police say even small details could assist in advancing the investigation.
