Saskatchewan RCMP charged a male after seizing firearms and illicit drugs in Tisdale, SK.
On July 9, 2026, police officers with Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team, Prince Albert Police Services’ Crime Reduction Team, and Tisdale RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a property on 102nd Street in Tisdale, SK as part of an investigation.
During a search of the residence and a vehicle, officers located and seized:
- 56 grams of fentanyl;
- 3.5 grams of methamphetamine and 2 grams cocaine;
- scales, packaging materials and cellphones;
- a large sum of cash;
- three firearms, two of which were loaded; and
- eight imitation firearms.
An adult male was arrested at the residence.
As a result of investigation, 35-year-old Craig Patterson of Tisdale is charged with:
- one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm, Section 91(1), Criminal Code;
- three counts, storage of a prohibited firearm in a careless manner, Section 86(1) of the Criminal Code;
- two counts, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, Section 96(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
