The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating an assault that occurred in the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue West.
At approximately 6:42 p.m. on July 2, 2026, officers responded to a report of an injured 40-year-old man in the area.
Initial information indicated the victim may have been struck in the head with a weapon.
Officers attended and located the injured man with what appeared to be a head injury.
He was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance where he received treatment.
As part of the investigation, officers learned the victim interacted with several individuals before being pushed to the ground, causing him to strike his head.
A second man struck the victim on the head with an open hand.
The suspects have not yet been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing.
