The Regina Police Service is investigating a weapons offence involving a firearm that resulted in a 29 year-old male being injured.

At approximately 7:15 a.m. this morning (May 14, 2026), officers were called to the 900 block of Retallack Street for a report of a firearms offence.

The caller stated that someone had shot at a residence in the area. Further investigation led police to a victim in the 300 block of Smith Street.

The victim is a 29 year-old male who had been shot and EMS transported the victim to hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
