A youth is charged after RCMP received a report of threats made on social media.
White Butte RCMP received the report on April 14, 2026, and investigation determined that online posts were made by an individual with an address in White City, SK.
On April 17, 2026, officers with Saskatchewan RCMP’s White Butte Detachment and Regina Serious Crimes Unit, and the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in White City.
Officers arrested a male teenager. We are unable to identify the teenager as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
As a result of investigation, the teenage male is charged with counselling to commit an offence; and uttering threats.
He made his first court appearance in Regina on April 20, 2026. (Information #Y409091.)
