Recieved information from RCMP,
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Serious Crimes Unit is seeking information in relation to a firearms incident in Stanley Mission.
On April 15, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Stanley Mission RCMP received a report of a firearms incident at a residence in Stanley Mission.
Officers responded immediately and located an injured teenage. The injured teenager was transported to hospital.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Serious Crimes Unit has taken carriage of the investigation and continue to investigate.
We are unable to provide additional information about this investigation at this time. Updates will be provided when available.
If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public.
Investigators are asking anyone with information, or anyone who saw any activity in Stanley Mission between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to contact Stanley Mission RCMP at 310-RCMP.

In the afternoon of April 15, 2026, a shooting was reported in Stanley Mission.
From Social media reports from the community council, a shooting occurred in the community on Wednesday afternoon.
One person was injured and sent to hospital.
They say there is no threat to the community and that the RCMP’s general investigation crew is going to be in the community investigating.
