The Lac La Ronge Indian Band and Keethanow Group of Businesses have officially unveiled a sign at the future site of a new 8,000-square-foot gas station.
A sod-turning ceremony was also held to kick off the project, with construction expected to begin within the next couple of weeks.
The new gas bar will feature five fuel pumps and include a Chester’s Chicken restaurant.
If construction stays on schedule, the facility could be completed as early as November 2026.
The gas station will be located at the former Henry’s Gas Bar site, ideally positioned to welcome traffic entering the tri-communities from the south.
