A 33-year-old man from La Loche is facing an attempted murder charge after a recent altercation in Canwood.
RCMP say Roger Herman was charged in relation to an alleged serious assault at a business in the community earlier ion February 9.
As a result of the incident, two individuals were taken to hospital, with one of the individuals described as having injuries serious in nature.
Herman had initially been charged with assault causing bodily harm for the incident.
On Monday morning, RCMP upgraded the charges against him to include attempted murder.
Herman is also charged with aggravated assault and mischief.
RCMP say he was scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday.
