The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is continuing to investigate in relation to the fire that occurred in the 900 block of Central Avenue on Christmas evening in 2025.
Through continued investigation, Major Crimes Unit investigators have obtained video surveillance of the area surrounding the 900 block of Central Avenue moments after the fire is believed to have started.
Now, investigators are releasing that video footage and requesting public assistance in identifying the unknown person observed on the video.
On December 25, 2025 at approximately 7:31 p.m., the unknown person is first seen walking southbound in an alley in the 900 block of Central Avenue.
The person then removes black pants and is wearing grey pants underneath.
One minute later, the unknown person is then seen walking westbound in the unit block of 10th Street East approaching Central Avenue.
Video from another camera then shows the individual walking North on the East side of Central Avenue at around 7:33 p.m.
The individual is last seen at approximately 8:00 p.m. standing on the northeast corner of Central Avenue before proceeding southbound down Central Avenue.
At this time, it is unknown whether the individual had any involvement in the fire or is a potential witness.

Prince Albert police are investigating the fire which destroyed the Salvation Army building during the holidays.
Investigators say the blaze on Christmas Day was human-caused.
Fire Department officials report there were multiple starts from within the building.
So far there has been no word on a suspect or charges.
The Salvation Army has set up a temporary location in the Union Centre downtown for the winter months.
