The Saskatchewan RCMP say nine firearms and three machetes have been seized, and four people are now facing charges after a drug-trafficking investigation in La Ronge.
On November 27, 2025, officers with the La Ronge Crime Reduction Team and the Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant at a home in Sucker River, Sk..
They arrested several people and seized nearly 370 grams of crack cocaine, multiple sawed-off shotguns and rifles, imitation firearms, bear spray, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.
As a result of the investigation, 33-year-old Leroy Eninew and 32-year-old Marjorie Eninew of Sucker River each face trafficking, firearms and unsafe-storage of firearms charges.
The two male youths from the area face similar charges, plus weapons possession contrary to an order. Their identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
All four accused have appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court.
