The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) will be conducting a test of the provincial emergency alert system, SaskAlert, on Wednesday, November 19 at 1:55 p.m.
The test will be issued through Alert Ready, the national public alerting system.
Residents can expect to see and hear the test message on television, radio, compatible wireless devices, and through the SaskAlert app.
Officials say routine testing is an important part of emergency preparedness, ensuring that urgent public safety warnings can be delivered quickly and effectively during real emergencies or disasters.
