Prince Albert RCMP have arrested 20-year-old Kalen Felix following an incident on Sturgeon Lake First Nation that involved a police pursuit and two stolen vehicles.
Police say the situation began on November 14 around 4:15 p.m., when officers received a report that Felix, who was wanted, had been seen driving a truck on Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
RCMP units responded immediately and soon located the vehicle on Sturgeon Lake Road.
When officers activated their emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop, the truck sped away.
According to RCMP, the driver made dangerous manoeuvres while fleeing, including swerving toward an officer who was placing a tire deflation device on the roadside.
The officer was forced to run into the ditch to avoid being hit; the truck nearly collided with a parked police vehicle.
Shortly afterward, a man and woman jumped out of the still-moving truck and entered a nearby SUV, which sped away.
Officers arrested the pair on, identifying the male as Kalen Felix.
The SUV fled the scene but Officers located it parked at a residence and arrested a man inside.
During the investigation, officers seized ammunition and confirmed the truck involved in the pursuit had been reported stolen from Emma Lake.
As a result of the investigation, Kalen Felix, 20, of Sturgeon Lake First Nation, is charged with: flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault on a police officer, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, failing to comply with a release order, operation while prohibited, weapons possession contrary to order, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Felix was also arrested on a separate warrant connected to armed robberies reported on November 7, 2025.
Alyssa Bear, 23, of Sturgeon Lake First Nation, is charged with: possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order
Ian Seewalker, 36, of Sturgeon Lake First Nation, is charged with: dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from a peace officer, failing to comply with a release order,
Seewalker was also arrested on an outstanding warrant related to an assault with a weapon on November 9, 2025.
All three individuals appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on November 17, 2025.
Prince Albert RCMP say the investigation remains active, and they thank community members for reporting sightings that helped lead to the arrests.
Prince Albert RCMP are working to locate a man wanted in connection to multiple armed robberies that occurred on November 7th.
Police say 20-year-old Kalen Felix is facing over two-dozen charges.
They include weapons related offences, armed robbery and impaired driving.
Felix is from Sturgeon Lake First Nation and investigators say he may be injured.
