The Metis Nation Saskatchewan is currently embroiled in an internal dispute as two regional directors have been suspended from the Provincial Metis Council.

According to the MN-S, the regional directors have been accused of harassing an employee and can return if they apologize.

Meanwhile the directors say they shouldn’t have to apologize as they believe they have done nothing wrong.

MBC News spoke with Indigenous governance expert Dr. Ken Coates on the situation.
