Carlyle RCMP responded to a report of an injured adult male, who had walked to a residence on White Bear First Nation seeking assistance in the early morning of June 28, 2025.
Investigators believe the injured male was the victim of a serious assault and he was transported to the local hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
There is no update on his condition.
As a result of continued investigation by Carlyle RCMP a 21-year-old, Darias Obey, from White Bear First Nation is charged with one count, aggravated assault.
A warrant is issued for his arrest and Carlyle RCMP are actively working to locate him.
Darias Obey is described as approximately 6’4” and 210 lbs.
He has black hair and brown eyes.
If you see Darias Obey, do not approach him.
